Christine Stanton
Executive Officer 

A well-credentialled and experienced professional with a Bachelor of Applied Science, underpinned by strong commercial acumen and proven leadership skills. With a diverse background spanning not for profit/charities, management, events, advertising, administration, marketing and public relations, Christine is also a highly effective communicator with extensive experience as a broadcaster, journalist and associate producer across radio, television and print media.

A former lecturer and tutor at tertiary institutions, Christine has successfully established and operated a private marketing and PR consultancy, as well as owned and managed businesses in wholesale, retail and property development.

A three-time Olympic finalist and Commonwealth Gold and Silver medallist, Christine has represented Australia as an heptathlete, as well as selected as a member of the Australian and WA State Netball Teams.   Christine’s accolades include induction into the WAIS and Australian Little Athletics Halls of Fame, Life Membership of Athletics West and University of WA; the Edwin Flack Award for service to Australian athletics and the Charles Smith Award for service to youth.
